Defined by forest, the Linyanti River and the Savuti Channel, Linyanti Private Reserve is home to abundant wildlife, particularly in the transition areas between ecosystems.

Linyanti is home to a healthy population of the endangered African wild dog, making the observation of this fascinating canid an almost everyday occurrence. Linyanti is also home to large herds of elephants, which can be observed especially during the dry season.

As Linyanti is a private reserve, only camp guests are allowed to explore the boundaries of the park. This makes for an exclusive safari experience, avoiding the large concentration of vehicles of some national parks, such as Chobe National Park.
