Ballooning is a great experience to include during your safari. To get the most out of your safari and the balloon flight, we recommend that you book the balloon flight only if spending at least 3 nights in the national park, and to book on the second day of your trip. This way if the scheduled flight must be cancelled, you will still be able to fly on the last day of your stay, while also enjoying the rest of your planned activities. The route will be dictated by the wind direction, so no two flights are the same. For the same reason the exact landing point can vary. The duration of the flight can also vary depending on the weather and the topography of the terrain below, but flights normally last between 45 and 60 minutes. 08:15-08:30 You land and descend from the balloon. Depending on the landing point it may be necessary to make a short transfer to breakfast. On other occasions you only have to walk a short distance to the table where breakfast is waiting for you. 08:30-09:30 breakfast in the African savannah. Sometimes the balloon team decides that this might be a better time for a sparkling wine toast, although let's be honest, any time is a good time for a toast. Breakfast consists of fruit, eggs cooked out on the savannah, bread toast and other items. And coffee or tea, of course.
