The 4×4 safaris in Rwanda take place in Akagera National Park. The park’s interior is home to a great diversity of species including the Big Five. The Magashi camp includes 4×4 safaris. All year round.

The safaris take place at dawn and dusk when the animals are most active. The duration is around 3-4 hours for each safari, but the duration of the activity can vary based on daylight hours and wildlife sightings.

You depart for a safari after breakfast and return around noon. There is some free time after lunch. In the afternoon you will go on a safari again. You return to the camp at sunset and just in time for a pre-dinner snack. However, depending on the number of nights you will spend at Magashi camp, other activities may be scheduled and therefore each day may be different, and the activities and timetables may vary. If you are staying at camps other than Magashi all activities are optional so the day will depend on what you decide to book.
