THE BWINDI GORILLAS
The Bwindi gorillas are isolated from the mountain gorilla population found on the slopes of the Virunga volcanoes. In the interior of the forest live about 18 groups of gorillas distributed in four sectors of the park, forming an estimated population of about 450 individuals.
