VACCINATIONS
Vaccination against yellow fever is mandatory for citizens of countries where the disease is considered endemic or for travellers flying via one of these countries.

Other requirements: passport valid for at least 6 months at the moment of entering the country, and at least 1 page of the passport completely blank.

Best time to travel to Kenya
Climate change is modifying the temperature and rainfall pattern, which may vary significantly. These changes also alter the behavioural patterns of wildlife. For all of the above reasons, you should consider the information provided as a guideline.
JANUARY TO MARCH
• Short dry season.
• During these months the weather is variable. Days are clear and dry with occasional cloudy days and light showers.
• Average daytime temperatures of 29ºC and 10ºC at night.
APRIL - MAY
• Wet season.
• Months of regular rainfall. Thunderstorms and heavy showers usually occur at night.
• These are the best months for photography. Strong contrasts between the colour of the sky and the savannah are a spectacle worth seeing.
• Fewer travellers. Lower camp prices.
• Some camps in Masai Mara are closed.
• Average temperatures of 23°C during the day and 12°C at night.
JUNE TO OCTOBER
• Long dry season.
• Drier months.
• In the last week of July, the migration begins to cross the river and enter the Masai Mara.
• In October the migration returns to the Serengeti.
• These are the busiest months in Tanzania, with the highest prices.
• Average daytime temperatures are 25°C and 8°C at night.
NOVEMBER - DECEMBER
• Short rainy season.
• Months of irregular and less intense rainfall than in April and May. Rains generally occur at night.
• Numbers of travellers begin to decline.
