Where and When
Diving Center in Simon's Town. Due to changing weather conditions, the exact meeting time for the diving centre in Simon's Town, and/or the pick-up time from your hotel in Cape Town will be confirmed the evening before the tour. This activity is available all year round.
Duration
The dive is 1 tank only so the duration in the water will depend on a number of factors, including your air control. The duration can vary from 30 to 60 minutes.

More information
The evening before you will be advised about the time you must be present at the dive center in Simon's Town (approximately 45 minutes by road from Cape Town). If you wish you can also book the transfer from Cape Town to the diving center when booking this activity. In the center you meet with the dive master and the rest of the participants in addition to presenting your diving certificate. Boarding in a standard zodiac (inflatable boat) for diving operations in South Africa. The zodiac lacks lockers, toilets, etc. All your belongings can be left in a locker at the dive center. From the Simon's Town pier to the dive site it takes about 15 minutes to navigate in the zodiac. Once in the water visibility can vary from 2 to 20 meters. The temperature also fluctuates between 11 and 20ºC. Approximately the duration of the dive is around 30-60 minutes, after which you return to the dive center in Simons's Town to end the day of diving.
