Masai Mara Game Reserve

The great migration
Every year, the great migration takes a circular route between the Serengeti and Masai Mara. Between August and October, you have a chance to witness the river crossings made by millions of wildebeest and thousands of zebras, among many other species.
The big five
On the plains of the Masai Mara roam the so-called ‘big five: elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino, giving you a unique chance to spot one, or with a bit of luck and patience, all five.
An abundance of animals
The wide, open plains of the Masai Mara make it easy to observe the large number of animals that roam the grasslands.
