Queen Elizabeth National Park

UNESCO BIOSPHERE RESERVE
The Queen Elizabeth National Park has a great variety of habitats: savannah, woodland, grassland and wetland. This richness of landscapes is the main reason for the diversity of species found here, especially birds, with up to 612 species recorded here.
UGANDA'S BEST KNOWN NATIONAL PARK
Queen Elizabeth National Park is probably the best-known national park in Uganda. Its appeal to nature lovers is self-evident from the large concentrations of birds and hippos found in the Kazinga Channel, the ‘tree-climbing’ lions of Ishasha and the chimpanzees of Kyambura Gorge.
DIVERSITY OF SPECIES
The sheer diversity of animals here makes it difficult to compare with any other park in Africa. From cats, elephants and antelopes to aquatic life, birds and chimpanzees. This is a destination for those who value diversity over quantity.
