LARGE HERDS OF ELEPHANTS
Thanks to their number and concentration, elephants are one of the symbols of Tarangire, making this one of the best areas in North Tanzania to observe this incredible animal.
CONCENTRATION OF WILDLIFE
During the dry season from July to October, Tarangire receives a huge number of animals from the surrounding area, who flock to take advantage of the only fresh water source in the region.
A BIRDING PARADISE
Over 550 species of bird have been recorded in Tarangire, making it one of the best areas for birdwatching in North Tanzania.
