Wild and Great Safaris (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Wild and Great Safaris), with legal address located at: 157 Dorp Street, 7600 Western Cape, South Africa, hereby requires you to read the following Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy, in which you are informed about the way in which your personal data shall be handled, including sensible personal data, equity, and financial data (hereinafter jointly referred as “personal data”) as well as the use we will give them, including data provided previously to Wild and Great Safaris through any given means.

Wild and Great Safaris, pursuant to the provisions contained in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Possessed by Private Entities, hereby discloses the general terms and conditions which govern use of personal data which Wild and Great Safaris may receive from the titleholder during the registry process for being a Client or Prospective Client. In such sense, whenever providing us with your personal information through any given means, and manifesting consent, the collected data shall be used for the following purposes:

i. Providing you travel and event services;

ii. Informing you about our quotations for the required services;

iii. Informing about changes in said services;

iv. Issuing travel documents;

v. Identifying and verifying personal data being provided;

vi. Contact you in case of inquiries, clarifications, or rectification;

vii. Follow up your reservation and your purchase of travels and events;

viii. Identify you for payments disbursed with check;

ix. Transferring your information to other suppliers providing tourism services contracted through Wild and Great Safaris.

x. Delivering you gifts;

xi. Generating our database and conducting updating of your personal data;

xii. Addressing inquiries, complaints, and suggestions;

xiii. For performing compliance with the applicable legislation, as well as with the requirements issued by the federal and/or local authorities;

xiv. Management of entry visas to the different countries in your travel.

Additionally, we may handle your personal data pursuant to the following secondary purposes.

a) Informing you about advertising, events, and travel suggestions;

b) Conducting interviews about the service quality.

We hereby inform you that you may deny handling of your personal information with regards to secondary purposes, within a period of 5 days subsequent to the date in which you granted consent for this Privacy Notice.

Personal data of each titleholder, whether a client or client prospect, are handled pursuant to a confidential nature, and shall not be disclosed to any individuals or legal entities, for purposes different to the ones specified herein without consent by the interested party, with exception of the situations were a legal or judicial mandate to do it exists.

Access to personal data of each titleholder shall be limited to those professionals and/or employees providing their services to Wild and Great Safaris which, due to normal questions in connection with development of the subject matter of the provision of the professional service, need to be in contact with the titleholders to provide said services, as well as the ones requested by the same titleholders.

Wild and Great Safaris hereby discloses that your personal data shall be handled and safeguarded based on the legality, quality, consent, information, finality, loyalty, proportionality, and responsibility principles, contained in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Possessed by Private Entities.

In such sense, and for performing compliance with the services provided by Wild and Great Safaris, certain communications related to professional services will be sent, and the same are considered as under the interest of client or prospective clients.

Wild and Great Safaris possesses technical, physical, and administrative measures for safeguarding your personal data.

Wild and Great Safaris may conduct modifications on these policies, always that they are within the currently applicable legal framework. Any changes which directly affect use given by us to your personal information shall be notified via e-mail.

In compliance with Regulation (UE) 2016/679, of the European Parliament and Council, dated on April 27, 2016 (hereinafter, the RGPD), in case that users provide personal data, said data will be incorporated to the corresponding automated file, which is the responsibility of Wild and Great Safaris.

As titleholder of personal data, you may exercise your Rights, or, as applicable, revoke consent granted by you to Wild and Great Safaris, for handling your personal information, sending your request, directly to the Data Privacy area through the e-mail: africa@wildandgreatsafaris.com or attending our office.
